How long is the program?
- The program is 10 weeks long, with an 11th day available for additional practice or instruction.
What days do we meet? And at what time?
Saturday classes.
How many students are in each class?
There are a maximum of 20 students in each class. This allows for plenty of individualized attention and ensures that everyone in the class gets the most out of the program.
What is the student/teacher ratio?
At capacity, we have one teacher to every five students.
Is the curriculum online or in-person?
The curriculum is blended. About 25 hours of instruction will be available online, and 80 hours will be conducted in person.
How much does the program cost?
The program usually costs $6,500. However our school offering $2,500 .This tuition covers the 10-week program and includes dental supplies, textbook, and the state application fee.

What are the requirements for admission into the program?
Students should generally be older than 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have access to a computer or smartphone. A criminal conviction will need to be explained to the California Board of Dentistry, and all necessary documents submitted for evaluation.
What certifications will I receive after completing the program?
Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that allows them to apply to the [State] Board of Dentistry to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Additionally, you will receive Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) radiology certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

You should obtain confirmation thatA&K Dental Assistant Academy will accept any contact hours you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer contact hours earned at A&K Dental Assistant Academy to determine if such institutions will accept contact hours earned at A&K Dental Assistant Academy prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfercontact hours from A&K Dental Assistant Academy to another educational institution may be very limited. Your contact hours may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at A&K Dental Assistant Academy if you enroll in another educational institution.
